We are just starting on our quest to find fun, delicious, local restaurants close to our properties on the west end of town near St Andrew's State Park. Here are a few we have enjoyed. We'll keep trying new places and adding to the list!

Capt. Anderson's Restaurants and waterfront market:
Capt. Anderson's restaurant is one of those rare "family" restaurants that not only survives, but strengthens and improves through the years. The landmark waterfront restaurant is celebrating its its 59th anniversary in 2026, and every year has witnessed remarkable growth without loss of quality. The restaurant has grown to 725 seats and, six nights a week, serves over 250,00 0 guests during its 11 month season.
Hours: Monday - Saturday 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM, Closed Sundays
SHooting Star Saloon:
Located across the street and one down from the Valley House, this historic gem boasts the oldest continuously operating bar in Utah. Besides a small selection of beers, you can enjoy a variety of hamburgers with chips. It is cash only but they do have an ATM.
