We love spending as much time as we can at the beach while we're here. There's nothing like walking as far as you want on the sugar soft sand or playing in the beautiful, clear water. The sunsets are absolutely amazing so we try to be on the beach each day during sunset time. We haven't tried it yet but there are companies that will set up a bonfire on the beach for you so you can relax after the sun goes down and make s'mores. Our son loves skimboarding and learned how to do it right on the beach here. Fishing is another favorite pastime for many and we'd like to learn more about the local fishing. Here are a few things we have tried when we're not on the beach that we have loved:
GlowFloat Paddleboards:
You'll venture out in one of our clear bottom kayaks and see some really cool marine life out in the bay! We see all kinds of animals like blue crabs, puffer fish, horseshoe crabs, dolphins, skate and even turtles.
Located across the street and one down from the Valley House, this historic gem boasts the oldest continuously operating bar in Utah. Besides a small selection of beers, you can enjoy a variety of hamburgers with chips. It is cash only but they do have an ATM.
Hours: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm daily except Sundays - closes at 8:00 pm)
